Lamar Odom says he is "too shy" to ask Khloe Kardashian out for dinner: “I’m a Scorpio and I hate being told no”

Lamar Odom had a very successful NBA career. In 14 years in the prestigious basketball league, the 6-foot-10 forward put on some amazing performances and won two championships.

Odom retired in 2013 and his life started falling apart shortly after. The basketball player was married to Khloe Kardashian, a reality TV star, but they divorced in 2016. Today, Odom is too shy to even ask Khloe out for dinner.

"I’m a Scorpio and I hate being told no and being denied," Odom revealed. "I’m afraid."

While their marriage fell apart, the truth is that Lamar and Khloe had some good times together. Furthermore, the popular TV star supported Odom during his recovery from drug abuse.

Odom and Kardashian tied the knot in 2009 when the basketball player was with the Los Angeles Lakers. The two married in September 2009, just a few months after the Lakers forward won his first championship ring.

It's interesting that they met through basketball. More specifically, they met at a party hosted by Odom's teammate, Metta Sandiford-Artest. After just one month of dating, they decided to tie the knot.

While he was married to Khloe, Lamar made several appearances on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," her reality TV show. The couple also had their own show named "Khloe & Lamar."

Unfortunately, the situation has drastically changed in the past few years and the former NBA player is too shy to ask his ex-wife out for dinner.

"I would just love to take Khloe out to dinner," Odom said to Us Weekly, revealing that he'd love to be her friend.

Lamar Odom also said that he was a Scorpio and that he hated being denied. Considering that determination and stubbornness are some of the most important Scorpio traits, this is not surprising.
