Michael Jordan missing dunks wasn't something that fans saw a lot during his 15-year run in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls and the Washington Wizards. However, fans have discovered a clip of Jordan missing a wide-open dunk opportunity against the LA Lakers in 1992.

During Game 2 of the West finals on Thursday night, Lakers star LeBron James became a hot topic after he missed a wide-open dunk against the Denver Nuggets. Fans piled on James as they brought up the argument that Jordan would never fumble a dunk attempt the way LeBron did.

However, there were some eager enough to prove a point and dug around for videos of MJ missing a dunk. They were able to find footage from 1992, when the Chicago Bulls legend fumbled the ball as he tried to dunk against the Lakers.

With that, fans took the chance to share their reactions about Jordan missing the dunk. Here are some of the best reactions.

After the missed dunk by LeBron, the Lakers lost 108-103 in Game 2 against the Nuggets. As they prepare for Game 3 in Los Angeles on Saturday, they are down 0-2 and have to win their next game to avoid a dire situation against Nikola Jokic and company.

James is averaging 24.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists in the Western Conference finals.

Many have lauded Michael Jordan for his greatness on the court. With his achievements as one of the elite superstars of the association, it's hard not to consider him as a great player on both ends. Recently, former NBA player Jalen Rose had a chance to share which players he considers as great on both ends.

"I'll never forget. We were playing against the (Houston) Rockets one time," Rose said. "Hakeem Olajuwon, who I believe along with Michael Jordan, are the only two people I've ever been on the court with, and Kobe (Bryant), that I felt like were the best player on both ends at all times."

During his prime, MJ was first-class, two-way star. He was a 10-time scoring champion while also being a nine-time All-Defensive player, including the 1987-88 Defensive Player of the Year, in 13 seasons in Chicago. Also, consider that he racked up those honors while playing only 11 full seasons as a Bull. Most people tend to overlook the scope of Jordan's game as they only focus on his five MVP awards and six championships.
