
Jay Higgins has been a collegiate football linebacker for the Iowa Hawkeyes since 2020. Higgins participated in six games during his freshman campaign, according to the Iowa Athletics website. Higgins was one of eight true freshmen to see game play and ended up becoming a letterwinner. In 2021, Higgins participated in all 14 games and recorded his first-ever fumble recovery on special teams, which resulted in an Iowa touchdown. He was a letterwinner as well.
