His senior year stats include 72 catches for 1,324 yards and 19 touchdowns, alongside 30 rushing attempts for 261 yards and seven touchdowns. In his junior year, he made 88 catches for 1,641 yards and 24 touchdowns. Williams also excelled in track and field, with impressive times in the 100 meters (10.49 seconds) and 200 meters (21.28 seconds).

Williams chose Alabama over other programs like Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, and Texas. He is a true freshman who joined the Crimson Tide early, making an impact at just 17 years old. His performance in the season opener against Western Kentucky earned him the SEC Freshman of the Week honors by securing two touchdowns and amassing 139 yards on just two receptions, with notable touchdown distances of 84 and 55 yards. His early success has earned him a spot on the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award Watch List.
