
Ryan Williams is a sophomore at Alabama Crimson Tide who plays as a wide receiver. He graduated from Saraland High School and became one of the top prospects to hail from Mobile, Alabama. His high school career was remarkable; he was ranked at No. 8 Consensus by On3, rated at No. 12 on the 247Composite list, and was at No. 9 in the ESPN300 list. Early success put him on the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award Watch List. At Saraland in 2022, he was coached by Jeff Kelly and made 72 receptions for 1,324 yards, scored 19 touchdowns, and rushed 30 times for 261 yards and seven touchdowns.
In 2022, Ryan Williams became the first player in Alabama State history to take home the coveted Mr. Football award in consecutive seasons. He also won the 2022 Gatorade Player of the Year in Alabama. He commenced his collegiate career with the Alabama Crimson Tide despite numerous offers from some of the top programs. As a freshman in 2024, Ryan made two receptions for 139 yards against Tuscaloosa and scored two touchdowns against Western Kentucky, including an 84-yard catch.
