IPL's format
The IPL format is divided into two parts: League stage and Playoffs. Among this, the Playoffs are divided into four parts: Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the Final.
The IPL follows a format where 10 teams face off against each other, each playing 14 matches—seven at home and seven away. Teams earn two points for a win, one point each if a match has no result, and none for a loss. The top four teams in the standings advance to the playoffs. The top two teams battle in Qualifier 1, with the winner securing a direct spot in the final, while the loser gets another chance in Qualifier 2. The third and fourth-placed teams clash in the Eliminator, with the winner facing the loser of Qualifier 1 for a place in the final.
