Shimron Hetmyer is a West Indian middle-order batter who plays for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is a big-hitting southpaw who made his IPL debut for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru) against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2019. Prior to the IPL 2025 retention deadline, Hetmyer was retained by the Royals for IPL 2025, according to the official website of the IPL.

Shimron Hetmyer played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru) in IPL 2019. The Delhi Capitals (DC) acquired him in the IPL 2020 season. He was released ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction and the Rajasthan Royals grabbed him for INR 8.50 crore.
