
Nicolas Hulkenberg is a German racing driver who competes in Formula One for Team Sauber. His racing days began when he participated in competitive kart racing at age 10, winning several national titles. Hulkenberg debuted in Formula One in 2010 at the Bahrain Grand Prix, driving for Williams F1 Team, finishing in 14th position.
In January 2011, Force India confirmed Hulkenberg as their reserve driver for the 2011 season. For the 2012 season, Force India announced that Hulkenberg would be their driver alongside Di Resta. After Force India, Hulkenberg raced for multiple teams- Renault (2017-2019), Aston Martin reserve driver (2021-2022), Haas (2023-2024), and Sauber (2025- present). Hulkenberg has entered 228 Gran Prix, with four highest race finishes, and one highest grid position. Hulkenberg’s performance has led him to win several championship titles throughout his career including the 2009 GP2 Series, 2008 F3 Euro Series, and the 2005 Formula BMW ADAC. Hulkenberg also participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and won the race in 2015, driving for Porsche.
