Born on August 26, 1993, in Varginha, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Amanda Ribas is a Brazilian MMA fighter competing in the UFC strawweight division (115 lbs). She is the daughter of Marcelo Ribas, a martial arts coach. Ribas initially pursued judo but took a hiatus due to knee injuries. Inspired by colleagues preparing for MMA, she returned to training.

Following her victory in the 2014 IMMAF World Championship in the Women's Flyweight category, Ribas entered the professional MMA scene in 2014, predominantly competing in the Brazilian circuit. Prior to joining the UFC, she compiled a 6–1 record in her professional career.

Ribas was slated to fight Juliana Lima at The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale in 2017 but was pulled due to a potential anti-doping violation. She received a two-year suspension for Ostarine, which was later terminated in May 2019, attributed to a contaminated dietary supplement. She finally made her first walk to the UFC octagon debut on June 29, 2019, against Emily Whitmire, resulting in a victory via second-round rear-naked choke submission.
