The 40-year-old professional boxer Artur Beterbiev was born in Dagestan, Russia, and later moved to Montreal, Canada, to pursue his professional career. The undefeated boxer has been the WBC(since 2019), IBF(since 2017), and WBO(since 2022) light heavyweight champion.

Artur Beterbiev had his first title bout against Tavoris Cloud for the North American Boxing Federation light heavyweight title on September 27, 2014. Moreover, Beterbiev knocked out Cloud during the early seconds of the second round.
