Conor McGregor's Beard

Last Modified Jul 2, 2024 06:41 GMT

Conor McGregor is rather “Notorious” both inside and outside the octagon. He’s one of the most famous UFC fighters today, and by far the richest of the lot. In addition to his wealth and skill in fights, he’s also known for his luxurious lifestyle and fashion sense. From his $150k outfits to the thousands of dollars he spends just on his appearance, McGregor truly cares a great deal about how he looks.

One of the most important parts about his appearance is his hairstyle and his beard. The Notorious one has an extremely distinctive beard, both because of the distinctive color as well as the way he styles it. It’s a large part of his notoriety, and an easy way to identify him. Although he styles it in a number of ways, the base structure usually remains the same, as you can see here.

Conor McGregor's Beard Styles

McGregor has a base for his beard that remains the same regardless of how he styles it. This distinctive cut accents his jaw and usually stays short at the sideburns, growing out at the chin, if he’s grown it long. In addition to this, McGregor always has both a full moustache and beard. The moustache may sometimes be twirled or styled, but it’s always grown in a manner where it connects to the beard.

On top of this base, McGregor usually styles his beard in many different ways. When growing it longer he usually adds moustache twirls to give a distinguished look. When it’s cut short, however, it's usually kept straight and neat all around to accentuate the sharp lines on his face.

There are other, minute changes he makes, like the sharpness of the taper or the beard line on his cheek, but it’s usually just a small variation to these main styles. Combined with his various hairstyles, McGregor effortlessly creates a wide variety of looks, simply by altering his beard slightly.

How to get a Conor McGregor beard

McGregor is able to achieve his signature look in large part because he has thick, quick growing facial hair. In order to style your hair like him, having thick hair is a must. Eating healthy, with a large amount of salads and red meat can help beard hair grow faster. A large amount of exercise also helps. In addition, using products like beard oils activates follicles, causing hair to grow faster.

After you have a thick coat of beard hair, you’ll need a comb and trimmer set to groom it in the McGregor style. Sharp, angular cuts coupled with a large amount of chin hair with comparatively thinner sideburns complete the McGregor look. Lastly, to maintain the look, you need to keep the hair well groomed. In order to do this, regular use of combs and beard products may be required. Doing this may not make you the best in the octagon, but it will give you McGregor’s signature sharp look. We recommend wearing three-piece suits for maximum effect.
