David Morrell Jr., born Osvary David Morrell Gutierrez on January 18, 1998, in Santa Clara, Cuba, is a professional boxer who fights with a southpaw stance in the super middleweight division. He began boxing at nine, inspired by his older half-brother, Rafael Morrell, an accomplished amateur boxer in Cuba. On August 31, 2019, Morell Jr. won via first-round knockout over Yendris Rodriguez Valdez in his first professional bout. He later captured the WBA World Interim Super Middleweight title by defeating Lennox Allen through a unanimous decision on August 8, 2020. Morell Jr. eventually captured the WBA (Regular) title at Super Middleweight and successfully defended it five times.

As of January 2025, Morrell Jr. holds an undefeated record of 11 wins, 0 losses, and nine knockouts in his professional career. In his most recent bout on August 3, 2024, he fought in the light heavyweight division, defeating Radivoje Kalajdzic via a unanimous decision.
