Alexandre Pantoja Passidomo, known as “The Cannibal” is the flyweight champion in the UFC. He is currently ranked #10 in the pound-for-pound rankings for men in the promotion. Hailing from Arraial Do Cabo in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Pantoja started his MMA journey with The Ultimate Fighter: Tournament of Champions in 2016 as a member of Team Cejudo. However, he lost in the semifinals to Hiromasa Ougikubo.

His debut in the UFC happened at UFC on Fox: Shevchenko vs Pena on January 28, 2017, where he defeated Eric Shelton via split decision in Round 3. Pantoja is the current UFC Flyweight Champion. Furthermore, he has also earned Fight of the Night twice and Performance of the Night four times in his career so far. Having an MMA record of 29-5-0 in his career so far, he has won 29 fights (8 by KO/TKO, 11 by submission, and 10 by decision). He lost all 5 fights by decision. He defended his title against Kai Asakura in his last fight at UFC 310.
