Jorge Masvidal had a previous professional boxing bout in his early career on June 28, 2005, against Joeseph Benjamin at the Radisson Mart Plaza Hotel in Miami, Florida United States. And Masvidal had a majority decision win against Benjamin after the four-rounder. Moreover, Nate Diaz is coming off a unanimous decision loss to the internet sensation in his last boxing fight on August 5, 2023.
