Tyson Fury was born on August 12, 1988, in a family with Irish roots. He grew up in the Wythenshawe area of Manchester, England. Fury had a sharp aptitude for boxing from a tender age. Belonging to a family that is graced with multiple fighters, Fury was trained in combat sports right from his childhood. He moved towards the international amateur level and became the EU Junior Champion in May 2007 and the ABA national champion in 2008.
