Anthony Jay Smith is an MMA fighter originating from America. Nicknamed “Lionheart”, he participates in the Light Heavyweight division of UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). Presently, he is No.10 in the light heavyweight rankings in the UFC.


Born on July 26, 1988, in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States, Anthony Smith became an MMA fighter at a young age. He competed in organizations like Bellator, Cage Fury Fighting Championships, and Strikeforce before joining the UFC. He came to the UFC at UFC on FUEL TV: Nogueira vs Werdum on June 8, 2013, but lost the fight by submission. He has since then won Performance of the Night 6-times and Fight of the Night 1-time. He is also a former 1-time CFFC Middleweight Champion.
