Senior career

In 2009, Carlos made his senior debut with Brazilian side Duque de Caxias and later moved to Corinthians Alagoano, the following year. Later in 2017, he was signed as the 7th foreign, player by an Indian club, Pune City in the cash rich tournament - ISL. Carlos did justice to the trust shown in him and scored a terrific goal against the defending champions, ATK.
