Lukáš Rosol is a Czech professional tennis player who is famous for defeating Rafael Nadal, 11 time grand slam champion, 2 time Wimbledon winner and world number 2, in the second round of the 2012 Wimbledon Championships. This victory was regarded as one of the biggest upsets in the history of Grand Slam tennis. Rosol competes on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP World Tour, both in singles and doubles. He was coached by former Czech player, 1999 US Open quarterfinalist Ctislav Dosedel. Rosol, at 25 years (the same age as Nadal), has only played 8 grand slam matches, with 3 wins and 5 losses. He got into the main draw this year by virtue of his world ranking of 100. His ranking can be attributed to a number of wins on the ATP Challenger Tour.
