Vishnu Vardhan: A Brief Biography
Vishnu Vardhan, also known as J. Vishnuvardhan, is a professional tennis player from India who ranks in the top 300 on the ATP Tour as of 9 July 2012. Vishnu is considered as a solid talent amogst the next generation of Indian Tennis after the likes of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi. He has represented India in the Davis Cup and was a member of the bronze medalist Indian men\'s team for 2010 Asian games in Guangzhou, China. He was also paired up with Sania Mirza for mixed doubles and won silver medal. Vishnuvardhan\'s career defining movement was when he won the Junior Nationals, and earned himself a place in the Indian Junior Davis Cup team. He has also won the Grass Court Nationals and achieving a career-high national ranking of two. Vishnu vardhan won this first futures tournament on July 11 following which he defeated Sriram Balaji in the Zuari Garden City-ITF, 2012. Vishnu was selected to participate in the 2012 London Olympics in the Men\'s Doubles category along with Leander Paes but crashed out of the Olympic doubles after a defeat French Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Michael Llodra.
