Appearance

Chatot is an avian Pokemon that strongly resembles a parakeet. It has a black head that mostly resembles an eighth note while its tail resembles a black metronome. It has a ruff of white feathers around its neck that are brightly colored with blue wings, a yellow chest and feet, a green stomach, and a pink, hooked beak and eyelids.

Behavior

Chatot also has a human tongue, which it uses to speak like humans. It also uses it to mimic the cries of other Pokemon, which is often used as a defense mechanism. Chatot uses sounds it has learned to make its own melody, to which it moves its tail in rhythm. Chatot is the only Pokemon that can learn Chatter.

Strengths and Weaknesses

As a Normal and Flying type Pokemon, Chatot is weak to Rock, Electric and Ice-type Pokémon, taking twice as much damage as normal when fighting them. It is immune to Ground and Ghost type Pokemon, and is resistant to Bug and Grass types, taking only half of the normal amount of damage. Chatot is damaged normally by Normal, Fighting, Fighting, Psychic, Flying, Dragon, Dark, Poison, Fire, Fairy and Steel type Pokemon.

Best moveset

Chatot has a lot of strong moves, including Boomburst, which is a move that has 140 power and 100% accuracy. Here are Chatot’s best moves; Boomburst has no additional effects, but will hit adjacent Pokemon (good for team battles). Sky Attack has 140 power and charges up on turn one and hits on turn two. It has a 30% chance to flinch the target and a high critical hit ratio. Synchronoise has 120 power and hits adjacent Pokemon of the same type. Uproar lasts for three turns and active Pokemon cannot fall asleep.

How to catch Chatot in Pokemon Go?

Chatot is a regional Pokemon in Pokemon Go, so only users in that region can catch it. It is regional to the Southern Hemisphere, so players there will be able to find it playing normally. It can be found in residential areas and parking lots, and will spawn more frequently during windy weather since it is a Flying type. It does not evolve to or from anything.
