Chingling is a Psychic type Pokemon that was introduced along with the Sinnoh Region (Generation IV). It is the base form of Chimecho and is based on a bell. Chingling has an orb inside its mouth at all times which makes noises when it moves around. This ringing sound is sometimes silent to humans due to its high frequency.

Appearance
Chingling is based on a Suzu bell and looks very similar to one. Primarily yellow in colour, its entire body resembles a bell and it has two arms and two legs as well. It has two eyes above its mouth while the mouth itself represents the opening in the bell. Above its head are two braided cloth-like structures which are red and white. This cloth is attached to this Pokemon through an opening on its back. Chingling is always seen floating because of its ability, Levitate.
Behavior
Chingling is a sound based Pokemon. It hops around while moving and each time it does, it makes a ringing sound. The reason it makes sounds is because there is an orb inside its mouth and this produces sound by bouncing all over its mouth. Once it starts crying, it can go for an awfully long time but sometimes people can’t even hear it due to its high frequency. However, to some Pokemon, this sound can be devastating, deafening them for the duration. If you plan on camping out with Chingling, make sure not to make it cry, as it might immediately ruin the entire experience.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Chingling is a Psychic type which means that its weaknesses and resistances are pretty standard. It takes double the normal damage from Bug, Ghost and Dark type moves. On the other hand, it is resistant to Psychic and Fighting type moves but has no immunities and is affected normally by all other types.
Best moveset
Chingling has a decent special attack but if you want a psychic type in LC, you can always use an Abra instead, who has almost 50% more special attack. However, if you feel you still want to use Chingling due to its cuteness, it still has a decent movepool. Hypnosis, although it has an insanely low accuracy, can put your enemies to sleep. You can use Recover while the enemy is asleep to restore health you lost while trying to put them to sleep. Psychic is a move that receives STAB and is your primary damaging move while Grass Knot can be used against heavy opponents to deal damage as well.

How to catch Chingling in Pokemon Go?
Since Chingling is a baby Pokemon, the only way to obtain it is through eggs and it hatches from 7 KM eggs. This is subject to change during events, where it can go as low as 2 KM eggs like during the Spring Event. Chingling evolves into Chimecho using 50 candies but you can not find Chingling in the wild. That means that you will have to collect the candy the hard way which is either as a buddy or hatching eggs. However, while Chingling has never appeared as a raid boss either, Chimecho has appeared as a Tier 1 raid boss in the past.
