Discovered in the Alola region, Drampa originates in the seventh generation of Pokemon. A dual Normal/Dragon type, Drampa is a good choice for those who want a reliable Dragon type by their side. While not as powerful as say a Dragonite, it is still a solid choice with the right moves and playstyle in mind.

Appearance

Drampa Appearance

Drampa is a Pokemon closely resembling that of a serpent and it clocks in at around ten feet long, a lengthy creature with colors mainly consisting of light green and pale green. The only break in this color palette is the light pink in Drampa’s eyes. Not only that, it seems to have a mustache on its face and two claws on each hand that are revealed when its arms are spread. It has what looks like hair on top of its head which is split into four rounded sections, with two draped down either side. Drampa also has a bushy white tail with a curved spike at the base.

Behavior

Although the size and appearance of Drampa may be frightening to some, many humans would be keen to disagree with that notion. As it lives mainly ten thousand feet in the air, Drampa only descends to the ground once a day to feed on berries. It is only then that it interacts with humans, showing its friendly disposition. While it may be fond of humans in general, Drampa has a soft spot for children, always playing with them and becoming quite attached to them. While friendly Drampa also has a temper, the quickest way to enrage this Pokemon is to hurt a child it cares for. You don’t want to do that as it could potentially lead to having your house burned down in the face of Drampa’s rage.

Strengths and Weaknesses

While Drampa’s stats are seemingly all over the place, what it prioritizes can make or break an entire fight. It has an outrageously good triple digit stat in Special Attack while its Special Defense also allotted a great amount of points. Aside from those two the rest of Drampa’s stats fall in line normally.

Still, as a dual Normal/Dragon type, Drampa is weak against Dragon, Fairy, Ice, and Fighting type moves. It is also immune to Ghost type moves but is also resistant to Fire, Water, Grass and Electric type moves.
