Strengths and Weaknesses

As a base evolution Pokemon, there are not many strengths to associate with Electrike although it does have a decent special attack and a speed stat for a base evolution Pokemon. The rest of its stats are fairly balanced but you just need to be wary of its offensive capabilities. As a monotype electric Pokemon, Electrike takes 2x damage from ground type moves, has no immunities but will take half the normal damage from flying, steel, and electric type moves.

Best Moveset

As a base evolution Pokemon, Electrike is exclusively limited to LC (Little Cup) brackets of competitive play. It is typically used as an offensive Pokemon with some utility in switching out as well as stealing held items. Consider running Volt Switch, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, and Hidden Power Grass/Switcheroo. Volt Switch gives you an efficient switch out, Flamethrower is for type coverage while Thunderbolt benefits from STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus). Hidden Power Grass and Switcheroo, on the other hand, can be used as either type coverage or for outplay potential with held items respectively.
