IPL 2024 GT Squad

The GT Squad 2024 seems to have all the bases covered. Gujarat Titans squad received a massive blow before the auction because Hardik Pandya wanted to leave the franchise for Mumbai Indians. Shubman Gill is the new captain of the Gujarat Titans Squad now.

Gujarat Titans entered the auction with the highest purse value. They participated in bidding wars for Harshal Patel and Mitchell Starc. However, the new addition of Gujarat Titans Players List 2024 featured the likes of Shahrukh Khan, Kartik Tyagi and Sushant Mishra.

The first addition to the GT Team 2024 was Azmatullah Omarzai from Afghanistan. He performed brilliantly in Ahmedabad during the 2023 ODI World Cup. Hence, the Titans splurged INR 50 lakh for the Afghanistan all-rounder.

Gujarat Titans teams have bolstered their pace attack also. To make up for the absence of players like Hardik Pandya and Shivam Mavi, the Ashish Nehra-coached franchise have signed Umesh Yadav, Kartik Tyagi and Sushant Mishra.

As always, there was a list of rules announced for the IPL 2024 Auction. Here is the complete rules list for the IPL 2024 Auction:

1. Each team has to mandatorily spend 75% of their auction purse.

2. IPL Trade Window will open again after the auction ends.

3. The maximum number of players in a team is 25. The minimum squad size is 18.

4. The maximum number of foreign players in a team is 8. The maximum number of Indian players in a squad is 25.

Gujarat Titans had the highest auction purse before the IPL 2024 Auction. Gujarat Titans Auction Purse Value before auction was INR 38.15 crore. They tried to sign some big names, but could not sign them all at the auction in Dubai.
