Ian Cole is an American ice hockey defenseman playing for the Vancouver Canucks in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on February 21, 1989, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Cole began his NHL career with the St. Louis Blues, when they drafted him as the 18th overall pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Cole has played with multiple NHL teams, including the St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins, Columbus Blue Jackets, Colorado Avalanche, Minnesota Wild, Carolina Hurricanes, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Vancouver Canucks.
