Jeff Skinner is a Canadian left winger who plays for the Edmonton Oilers. He was drafted 7th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2010 after scoring 50 goals for Kitchener in the OHL. As an 18-year-old rookie, he scored 63 points and won the Calder Trophy. Skinner later had 33 goals in 2013-14 and scored his 100th career goal at age 22. He tied his career high with 63 points in 2016-17 before being traded to the Buffalo Sabres in 2018.

In his first season with Buffalo, Skinner scored a career-high 40 goals. He reached 1,000 NHL games on April 2, 2024, becoming the first player from the 2010 Draft to do so. He had 46 points in 74 games in 2023-24. The Sabres bought out the final three years of his eight-year contract, and Skinner signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Edmonton Oilers on July 1, 2024.
