The IPL is a carnival filled with fun rides where every spectator can expect blitz of runs, fireworks of fours and sixes, and the list goes on and on.

The shortest format of the game demands a batter to score runs at will.

Throughout its journey, we’ve seen players from all spheres performing in this cricket mecca and showcasing their talent with the bat. Many have even become the superstars of today because of their heroics in the IPL.

Dynamic T20 all-rounder Andre Russell leads the list of highest batting strike rates in IPL history. The KKR main-stay has a strike rate of 174.00 after 112 matches (96 innings) in the IPL.

Russell has hammered 150 fours and 193 maximums in his career thus far.

Following him is another ruthless T20 basher in the form of England’s Liam Livingstone. The Lancashire swashbuckler has lightened up the cash-rich league with his unhinged power-hitting.

Livingstone has thus far scored 828 runs in 32 games at an explosive strike rate of 165.60, which is likely to increase in the coming seasons.

The third entry in this list belongs to West Indian off-spinner Sunil Narine, who championed the role of a pinch-hitter for the Kolkata Knight Riders during his prime years.

Narine has smashed 1046 runs in his IPL career thus far at a strike rate of 159.69.
