Even though we now know a lot of things about GTA 6 than before, the game is still wrapped in mysteries. GTA 5 was released over a decade ago, and players continue to find new details to date. In that case, we can expect the unreleased game to have more surprises up its sleeves. The trailer and screenshots are just the tip of the iceberg, and the final gameplay has more to reveal.
We try to predict three things that Rockstar Games is probably hiding about the GTA 6 gameplay.

3 interesting things Rockstar Games is probably hiding about GTA 6
1) Return of familiar characters
So far, Rockstar has revealed a handful of characters, including Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. However, we have yet to witness any familiar returning characters in GTA 6. The series has always included some of the old characters in new projects, and the same is expected from the upcoming game as well.
However, neither the official trailer nor the screenshots showed any familiar faces from the past titles. Many believe that Phil Cassidy is in GTA 6 as a similar-looking character with the same name appeared in the second trailer. However, Cassidy is from the 3D Universe, and the upcoming game is set in the HD Universe.
The only character who has a strong possibility of returning is Jerry Kapowitz from GTA 4. However, we have yet to see his new glimpse.
2) Game map including multiple states
The GTA 6 map is expected to be huge, and at least twice the size of the State of San Andreas. While Rockstar has yet to disclose the full map, there is a chance that the game may include more states apart from Leonida.
The second trailer has a few vehicles featuring license plates from other states, such as Glorina and Liberty City. While we are familiar with Liberty City, the state of Gloriana is still under mystery. Moreover, a Cuban flag was also spotted in one of the official screenshots. This led some fans to believe that Rockstar may include a map inspired by Cuba in GTA 6.
As of now, the developer has only confirmed the State of Leonida in the upcoming game. While a solid connection to the State of Liberty City was mentioned, its inclusion in the upcoming game is still under question.
3) A third controllable character
Rockstar Games may be hiding a third playable character in Grand Theft Auto 6. The developer has revealed Jason and Lucia as the main protagonists of the upcoming title. However, there is a chance that the game may also include a third controllable character.
Three solid instances from the past add to this hypothesis:
- Lamar Davis was supposed to replace Franklin Clinton in GTA 5 before release.
- John Marston replaces Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2.
- Jack Marston replaces John Marston in Red Dead Redemption.
Therefore, we can expect Rockstar to introduce a third playable character in GTA 6 under the following circumstances:
- After the death of Jason Duval.
- After the death of Lucia Caminos.
- After the death of both primary protagonists.
- All three characters remain alive in the storyline.
However, this is just a speculation, and we’ll have to wait till the final release date to know for sure.
