Jared Cannonier is an American professional mixed martial artist who competes in the middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). As of February 10, 2025, he holds the #7 position in the UFC middleweight rankings. Cannonier embarked on his amateur mixed martial arts journey at the beginning of 2011 and achieved two knockout victories in his initial matches. He transitioned to professional MMA in June 2011, competing in Alaska. Throughout the following five years, he had occasional fights and accumulated an undefeated record of 7-0.

Cannonier is best known for his fight against the former UFC Middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, at UFC 276, which he lost via a unanimous decision.
