Dillon Danis is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the welterweight division of Bellator MMA. Born and brought up in Prispanny Hills, Troy, New Jersey, United States, he had a deep interest in jiu-jitsu from a very young age.
He took up training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the age of 15 after being involved in a fight in his school. Couple of years down the line, Danis became a visitor to Marcelo Gracie’s academy in New York and 1t 19 he moved to New York to consolidate his chances of having a career in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
