Appearance

Buneary is a brown, two-legged Pokemon with ears that can curl up. It has a light yellowish tan curly fleece that covers most of its lower body, feet, and the tips of its ears. The upper half of its body is a smooth brown color but Buneary has small tan spots above its eyes and a small triangular pink nose. It has pink paw pads on the undersides of its large tan feet and a small brown puff for a tail.

Behavior

Buneary is a nervous Pokemon and due to its nervous nature, Buneary starts with a friendship level of 0. When it senses danger, it perks up both ears which can also serve as a sign that Buneary needs care. With its curled up ears, it can deliver powerful blows and jump impressively high although it is usually seen with one ear rolled up in order to swiftly counterattack when needed. It sleeps with its head tucked into its fur on cold nights since it lives in forests and icy mountains where it eats certain kinds of flowers due to Buneary being a herbivore.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Buneary has average stats but also has an especially high speed stat. As a normal-type Pokemon, Buneary is weak to fighting-type attacks, immune to ghost-type attacks and takes normal damage from most Pokemon types.

Best moveset

Healing Wish can be useful for fully healing a teammate once Buneary gets low on HP. Return is Buneary's most powerful STAB (same-type attack bonus) move with its focus on friendship. Drain Punch is good coverage for normal-type resistant Pokemon and a valuable form of passive recovery. Switcheroo is also a form of type coverage that allows Buneary to cripple defensive threats that may switch in.
