Gigantamax Eevee: Pokémon Sword and Shield

Last Modified May 11, 2021 07:30 GMT

Eevee was introduced in the first generation of Pokémon games, and it was one of the very first Pokémon that could evolve into different forms depending on the evolution method used. Eevee features notably as the title Pokémon of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee. As of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Eevee can evolve into eight different forms, and it’s one of a handful of Pokémon with a new Gigantamax Form.

What is Gigantamax Eevee?

The Gigantamax Factor is an ability some Pokemon can have, which allows them to take on huge forms with different moves than regular Dynamax Pokemon. Gigantamax Pokemon also take on a special appearance that’s different from other Pokemon of that species.

Gigantamax Eevee becomes extremely fluffy, and its ears take on a more angular appearance. Gigantamax Eevee can also use the unique move G-Max Cuddle, a powerful Normal attack that attracts opponents.

How to Get Gigantamax Eevee?

To get a free Gigantamax Eevee in Pokémon Sword and Shield, players must play Sword and Shield on a Nintendo Switch console that has save data from Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee. The save data can be on any console profile, and there is no progress requirement (you don’t have to play the game; you only need a save file).

After meeting the above criteria, head to the Wild Area Train Station at the Meetup Spot and talk to the NPCs in the back left corner. After they verify that you have save data for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee, they will give you an Eevee with perfect IVs and the Gigantamax Factor.
