Katie Lou Samuelson is an American professional basketball player who started her professional playing career in 2019. She was drafted by the Chicago Sky as the fourth overall pick in the first round of the 2019 WNBA Draft. Samuelson was the Commissioner’s Cup Champion in 2021. As of January 2025, she plays small forward for the Indiana Fever and also played for the Dallas Wings, the Seattle Storm, and the Los Angeles Sparks before joining the Fever.

Samuelson graduated from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, where she won the 2015 state regional championship with 24.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game and led her team to the Trinity League title. During her high school career, she was named the National Player of the Year by Gatorade, USA Today, McDonald’s, WBCA, and Naismith, and the Naismith High School and WBCA High School All-America first teams. Samuelson received many accolades, including the AAC Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018, the AAC tournament MOP in 2017, and many other honours.
