Liatu King is a college basketball player and a senior year forward for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, in the Atlantic Coast Conference of NCAA Division I. King began her collegiate basketball career at Pittsburg. As a freshman at Pittsburgh, she attended 19 games and averaged 5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 14.3 minutes per game. King was the fourth-most player to record 4.6 rpg rebounds. King concluded her season shooting 46.1% from the floor and this ranked her third on the team. As a sophomore in the 2021-22 season, she played in 26 games and started 16 of them at the power forward position. King concluded the season with 19.8 minutes, 7.5 points, and 7.1 rebounds per game on average.

As a junior, Liatu King appeared in 30 games and started 22. King managed to record career highs in almost every category. King was ranked fourth in the ACC after recording 1.4 blocks, fifth after recording 7.6 rebounds, and fifth in the field goal percentage at 39.4%. She also scored career-highs as a senior in nearly every category again and was named ACC’s Most Improved Player. She recorded double-digit rebounds in 19 games which was tied with the most in the ACC. As a graduate of Notre Dame in the 2024-24 season, King recorded 16 points and 12 rebounds at Louisville which was her ninth double-double of the year.
