George Jesse Hill Jr. is a professional American basketball player born on May 4, 1986, in Indianapolis, USA. He plays point guard and is currently playing for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA league. George Hill belongs to the African American ethnicity and was the only child of his parents. He entered the league after joining the San Antonio Spurs in 2008. Hill has received several awards and honors during his tenure with Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. George Hill took birth in Indianapolis, Indiana, on May 4, 1986. He is an African American and was the only child of his parents. His mother’s name is Tina Hill Woods and his father’s name is unknown. George Hill attended Broad Ripple High School where he worked hard to carve his skills to be one of the ‘Magnificent Seven’ from Indianapolis. Later, Hill decided to attend IUPUI despite many scholarship offers from other big conference schools. He also wanted to stay with his ailing great-grandfather, Gilbert Edison. George Hill commenced his professional basketball journey in the NBA in 2008. He was drafted in the 2008 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs surprised many by picking Hill with their 26th pick in the first round. All were expecting that the Spurs would select Mario Chalmers.
