Jimmy Weirick, born on July 7, 1999, is an American college football quarterback who most recently graduated with the TCU Horned Frogs. He began his high school football career at the Pickerington North High School where he holds all passing records. He missed out on most of his sophomore season due to a broken collarbone. In his junior season, Weirick threw for 2,827 yards and 28 touchdowns. He led his school to the regional finals in his senior year while rushing for 1,083 yards and 12 touchdowns. The four-year starter at Pickerington embarked on his collegiate football journey with Wofford Terriers over offers from Air Force, Akron, Ball State, Indiana, Kentucky, Miami, Purdue, and Toledo among others.
As a freshman in 2018 with the Terriers, Weirick saw action in just two games and redshirted the season. In 2020 as a redshirt sophomore, the Pickerington native appeared in five games and made 553 passing yards and three touchdowns. The following season as a junior, Weirick managed only two games of action before suffering a season-ending injury. In five seasons with Wofford Terriers, Weirick appeared in 23 games with 17 starts at the quarterback position. He set the school record for 2,480 passing yards in a season with 187 completions and fourth in career passing yards (3360). In 2023, Weirick transferred to TCU Horned Frogs for his final season of college football but failed to see any action.
