Jon Jones' Last Fight

Jon Jones won the vacant light heavyweight title at UFC 232 and successfully defended the belt three times against Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos, and Dominick Reyes. He has almost outclassed most of his opponents in his career, which has 29 professional fights as of July 2024. Apart from Dominick Reyes and Alexander Gustaffson, Jones walked through everyone facing him in the octagon in the light heavyweight division. He was tested to his limits by Gustaffson at UFC 165 and Dominick Reyes at UFC 247. On both occasions, Jones was able to sail through and secure unanimous decision victories.

He moved up to the heavyweight division and became its champion at UFC 285. He will make his first title defense at UFC 309 against Stipe Miocic on November 16, 2024.

In his most recent outing to the octagon, Jon Jones squared off against Ciryl Gane in a heavyweight showdown at UFC 285. He was making his debut in the heavyweight division of the UFC after coming back from a three-year hiatus for the vacant, undisputed heavyweight championship. Jones made quick work of Gane by clutching him in a guillotine choke in the first round of the showdown at two minutes and four seconds, forcing him to submit to win the title.

Jon Jones has a professional mixed martial arts record of 27 wins, one loss, and one no-contest to his name as of July 2024. 10 of his victories have come via knockout, seven by submission, and 10 by decision. His only loss in his professional MMA career came via disqualification against Matt Hamill in 2009.
