'Bones' won the vacant Light Heavyweight title at UFC 232 (2018) and successfully defended the belt thrice from Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos, and Dominick Reyes.


Dominick Reyes, back then, rose to fame with a six-win streak and got a shot at the title against Jon Jones. He even trash-talked Jones to get his shot for a title bout.
