Paddy Pimblett is a professional mixed martial artist from England who is a part of the leading professional mixed martial arts organization, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He competes in the lightweight division of the promotion. Pimblett was drawn towards combat sports in his teens and started training at the age of 15. Paddy Pimblett became a professional mixed martial artist in 2012 by making his debut against Nathan Thompson at OMMAC 15 on October 16, 2012, in a bantamweight bout. He won the fight by a first-round TKO and kicked off his career with a victory.

Paddy Pimblett competed in various fight promotions after making his debut in professional mixed martial arts. He defeated Kevin Petshi at Full Contact Contender 12 on March 28, 2015, to win the vacant FCC featherweight title by a second-round submission. Pimblett won the second championship in his professional career on September 10, 2016, at Cage Warriors 78 by beating Johnny Frachey by first-round TKO to win the Cage Warrior vacant featherweight championship.
