Jaime Munguia is a famed professional boxer from Mexico. He ventured into professional boxing on July 13, 2013, in a four-round boxing fight against Manuel Mora. Munguia made a successful debut outing to the ring after ending the affairs of the fight in the second round and winning the fight via second-round TKO.

Jaime Munguia compiled a remarkable record of 28 wins and no losses before challenging Sadam Ali for the WBO light middleweight championship. Munguia didn’t disappoint his fans and rose to the occasion by making the most of the opportunity and defeated Ali in the fourth round via TKO to win the title. He remained undefeated as a professional boxer until he faced Canelo Alvarez on May 4, 2024, for the WBC, WBA (Super), IBF, and The Ring magazine middleweight titles. He lost the fight by unanimous decision as a result, suffering his first loss in his professional boxing career.
