Hailing from Handan, Hebei, China, Zhang Weili is one of the most dominating female athletes on the UFC roster. With her unique mix of BJJ and Kung Fu, the 35-year-old fighter is decorated as the UFC women's strawweight champion and also holds the No.2 spot in the women's pound-for-pound rankings in the promotion, as of February 2025. She is a two-time UFC women's strawweight champion and is on a four-fight win streak. Zhang already has two successful title defenses in the promotion, since becoming the champion for the second time in November 2022.

For her most recent showdown, Weili Zhang faced Yan Xiaonan in a five-rounder at the prestigious UFC 300 in April 2024.
