Trevon Diggs is an American professional footballer who plays in the national football league for the Dallas Cowboys as a cornerback. Diggs's professional career began in the year 2020 when he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the NFL draft of 2020.

After signing with the Cowboys Diggs was named the starting cornerback in the team. In the following season in a game against the Seattle Seahawks and in the following match Diggs recorded a forced fumble. He recorded the first sack of his career in a week 4 49-38 loss against the Cleveland Browns. Diggs kept on providing top-class performances week after week where in a game against the Philadelphia Eagles he recorded two interceptions for the first time in his NFL career. In the upcoming weeks, Diggs injured his foot and due to the following injury, he was ruled out for a few weeks. Trevon Diggs after a brilliant performance all over the season finished his first season in the NFL where he recorded 56 tackles, 3 interceptions, 14 passes defended, one sack and one forced fumble.

In the 2021 season, Trevon Diggs was named as the starter left cornerback. In the following season in a match against the Philadelphia Eagles Diggs recorded the first touchdown of his NFL career. In the upcoming weeks because of his brilliant performance, Diggs was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month. In a 26-21 win against the New England Patriots Diggs recorded the second touchdown of his career. Diggs continues his excellent performance throughout the season and he finished his second season in the NFL with 11 interceptions, 56 tackles, and 21 passes defended. In 2023 Trevon Diggs signed a new contract extension deal for five years with the Cowboys worth $97 million.

Where in 2016 his freshman year Diggs recorded one forced fumble, five tackles, 11 receptions for 88 yards, and a touchdown. Diggs continued to improve himself in the upcoming season and Diggs in his junior year in 2018 only played six games in the entire season due to a foot injury where he finished the following season with 20 tackles and an interception. He kept the same momentum in his senior year and after having a successful career in college Diggs was ready for the NFL draft of 2020.
