Sloane Stephens has won one Grand Slam title, winning the US Open in 2017.

Sloane Stephens, an American tennis player, was born on March 20, 1993. At the 2013 Australian Open, Stephens, then 19 years old, made a name for herself by defeating Serena Williams in the semi-finals. She rose to No. 11 near the end of 2013, but her ranking dropped and she remained outside the top 25 until the end of 2015.

Stephens changed coaches and began working with Kamau Murray, who helped her reach the top level again and win three WTA titles in the first half of 2016. However, a foot injury kept her out for months and halted her fruitful year.

She made her comeback from her injury in the middle of 2017, and in the US Open, Stephens emerged victorious against Madison Keys, securing a 6-3, 6-0 win on the hard court surface. She also won the Fed Cup in the same year and was thus given the WTA Comeback Player of the Year award.

Stephens maintained her success in 2018 by winning the Miami Open, and also reached her second Grand Slam singles final at the French Open. She was a runner-up at the WTA Finals and broke into the top 10.
