Berube appeared in 1,054 regular-season games and collected over 3,100 penalty minutes. After retiring in 2004, he moved into coaching, leading the St. Louis Blues to their first-ever Stanley Cup win in 2019. He is also known as "Chief." Berube is of Cree First Nations heritage.
