Courtney Monae Williams is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA and for the Lunar Owls in the Unrivaled 3x3 basketball league. At 5 feet 8 inches tall, Williams has been a force to reckon with as a shooting guard. Her basketball career started in Charlton County High School where she set a record of scoring 42 points in a single game. Williams maintained her good form at the University of South Florida where she was a first-team All-Conference player and an honorable mention for the All-American team during the sophomore season. Her college performance was characterized by high averages; she was ranked at the top of the American Athletic Conference (AAC) for points per game in her junior year and was honored as a member of the University of South Florida Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019.

In the WNBA, Williams was drafted eighth overall by the Phoenix Mercury in 2016 the WNBA Draft. She has also represented the Connecticut Sun, Atlanta Dream, Chicago Sky, and the Minnesota Lynx. She was selected as a WNBA All-Star in 2021 and won the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup in 2024 with her team. She has competed for the USA in the World University Games and the Pan American Games, in which she won gold medals in team events.
