Madison Scott is a professional basketball player for the Dallas Wings in the WNBA. She was drafted by the franchise in the second round as the 14th overall pick. She played collegiate basketball as a guard for the Ole Miss Rebels in the SEC. Scott was selected to the 2018–19 WCAC All-Second Team and earned honorable mention in the 2017–18 WCAC. During her final year at Bishop McNamara High School, she averaged 13.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.9 blocks, and 1.8 steals, while shooting 57 percent from the field. With an overall grade of 98, 5-star recruit Madison Scott was ranked No. 13 by ESPN. Scott was the second-ranked wing player in the nation by ESPN and the first McDonald's All-American in Ole Miss women's basketball history.

In 2023, Scott played for the USA U24 squad in the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series. Playing for USA U24 in Orleans Stop on June 23–24, 2023, she scored 17 points (5.7 points per game) in three games, leading the team in scoring. Scott participated for USA U24 in Poitiers Stop from June 27–28, 2023, and scored 15 points (5.0 points per game) in three games, leading the squad in scoring again. According to Ole Miss Rebels' official website, she averaged nearly 13 points, 6.5 assists, and 6.5 rebounds, receiving First-team All-SEC and SEC-All Defensive honors in her junior year.
