Hailed as one of the greatest fielders that has ever played the sport, former India and Chennai Super Kings stalwart Suresh Raina holds the record for most catches in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Raina was the first-ever cricketer to claim 100 catches in the tournament's history, a feat he achieved during the 2019 season. Overall, the legendary white-ball batsman took 109 catches in 205 outings.

Champion India and RCB batter Virat Kohli will have a golden chance to leapfrog Raina in the list of ‘’Most Catches by a Player in IPL History.’’ Kohli is currently in the second spot with 106 catches in 235 innings.

Virat is followed by the legendary Mumbai Indians all-rounder Kieron Pollard, who will go down in history as one of the greatest athletes and outfield catchers in history.

Pollard remains one of the three players after Raina and Virat to take 100+ catches in the IPL. He claimed 103 catches in his 189-match career, which came to an end in 2022.

At the sixth spot is AB de Villiers, who not only whetted the appetite of cricket fans with his 360-degree strokeplay but also with his "Superman" effort on the field.
