Sin City just got a whole lot louder.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway announced Wednesday the track will host a second NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series race beginning next season after a sponsorship proposal was approved by the city's tourism board.

The seven-year, $2.5 million annual sponsorship agreement with NASCAR will give Las Vegas a fall race beginning in 2018,

NASCAR isn't going to increase the number of races — including non-points events — next season, so Speedway Motorsports Inc., which owns six speedways in Atlanta, Bristol, Charlotte, Kentucky, New Hampshire, Sonoma and Texas, will remove a race from New Hampshire Motor Speedway in order to accommodate a second triple-header weekend in Las Vegas.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for Speedway Motorsports and Las Vegas Motor Speedway to create a NASCAR spectacle worthy of the greatest racing in the world and the Entertainment Capital of the World," said Marcus Smith, president and CEO of Speedway Motorsports, Inc.

According to Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority's meeting material, last year's March race attracted 96,400 out-of-town visitors resulting in a $139.2 million economic impact.
