Clayton Tune a native of Plano, Texas was born on March 23, 1999. He was a quarterback for the University of Houston Cougars. Tune completed his high school education at Hebron High School in Texas, where he amassed more than 6500 throwing yards and more than 60 touchdowns throughout the course of his football career. Tune made his initial college commitment to the University of Kansas.

He eventually changed his mind, though, in order to play for the University of Houston. Clayton Tune collected almost 12,000 throwing yards and just over 100 touchdowns during the course of his five-year collegiate career at the University of Houston. According to his draft combine report, Tune has demonstrated leadership qualities, having started as the team's quarterback for 4 years and serving as captain for 3 of those years. Tune decided to declare for the 2023 NFL Draft at the end of his final college season.

Clayton Tune's S2 Cognition Test Results

The S2 cognition tests have replaced the previously used Wonderlic scoring metric. Clayton Tune ranked amongst the first five top scorers in the S2 test, with a score of 84 percentile.

The S2 test which is a new cognitive ability test for college prospects entering the NFL Draft. The S2 does not test general intellect, in contrast to the now-defunct Wonderlic. Instead, it governs how quickly players can digest split-second information and take action on it.

Clayton Tune received an almost perfect score of 9.81 out of a possible 10 on the Relative Athletic Score or simply RAS.

RAS reduces a prospect's performance at the NFL Combine to a single quantifiable measurement. The RAS creates a single score that is reported as a percentile rating by combining several physical traits, including strength, speed, agility, and the capacity to leap.

RAS is used by certain teams and analysts to identify promising players and evaluate players in general. However it's important to remember that RAS does not take into consideration a player's talents, technique, or tactical understanding of the game.
