Brittney Yvette Griner is a professional WNBA player for the Atlanta Dream. She was born in Houston, Texas, in October 1990 and had a decorated career as a high school basketball prodigy. She then moved on to Baylor University, where she won the NCAA title in 2012, leading her team to victory with splendid performances. 2012 was also the year she won the NCAA Most Outstanding Player of the Year award, a Naismith College Player of the Year award, and a Wade Player of the Year trophy. The latter two of the awards were won by her twice in her collegiate career in both 2012 and 2013.
