Napheesa Collier plays professionally for the Lunar Owls of Unrivaled and the Minnesota Lynx of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Collier and Breanna Stewart co-founded the Unrivaled basketball league.

Collier was selected sixth overall by the Lynx in the 2019 WNBA draft after playing collegiate basketball for the University of Connecticut Huskies. Playing for the U.S. women's national basketball team in Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, she has won two Olympic gold medals.

During the 2024 WNBA finals Game 1, Collier became the first to record 20+ points, 8+ rebounds, 6+ blocks, and 3+ steals in a playoff game. In Game 3, she broke Diana Taurasi's postseason scoring record. By the end of the 2024 finals, Collier led the playoffs in points (285), rebounds (107), steals (25), and blocks (23). Collier also broke Tamika Catchings' record for total postseason steals and blocks, achieving a combined 48.
